Warhammer Colour Paint: Technical

Warhammer Colour paints (traditionally known as Citadel Colour) are professional-grade, acrylic-based paints manufactured by Games Workshop. They are chemically formulated specifically for miniature painting, utilizing a water-soluble acrylic polymer resin binder, variable pigment loads, and unique fluid mediums optimized to adhere to plastic, resin, and metal miniatures.

nstead of traditional art mediums classified by chemical composition alone, the Warhammer Colour ecosystem organizes its formulations into specialized technical paint categories based on viscosity, surface tension, opacity, and practical mechanical applications.
