Warhammer Tone Pro is a professional-grade miniature paint range formulated to deliver exceptional coverage, highly pigmented color, and a predictable, smooth fluid consistency across its entire selection. Launched as a premium addition to the Games Workshop hobby lineup, the system is designed to streamline the painting process for both beginners and veterans by introducing a structured approach to color theory.

The 1-to-5 Gradient Paint System

The core of the Tone Pro line is its highly organized color selection:

• 150 Total Paints: The range features 30 core colors, with each family broken down into 5 distinct tones.
• Numbered Progression: Pots are numbered from Tone 1 (the darkest shadow) to Tone 5 (the lightest highlight).
• No-Mix Volumetric Highlighting: This structure removes the guesswork from building contrast, allowing hobbyists to effortlessly transition from dark basecoats to bright highlights straight from the pot without manual mixing.

Performance & Formula Characteristics

• Novel Unique Binder: The paints utilize an advanced fluid binder that ensures a consistent, smooth flow and predictable behavior across every single color in the range.
• High Covering Power: It offers intense pigmentation capable of achieving smooth coverage in 1 to 2 layers, including traditionally difficult pigments like vibrant yellows, punchy magentas, and solid whites.
• Self-Leveling & Finish: The formula features advanced self-leveling capabilities to ensure an even coat that eliminates brush strokes. It cures to a consistent, smooth satin-matte finish that adds subtle artificial depth and improves subsequent paint flow.
• Extended Working Time: Tone Pro paints have a slightly longer drying time than standard Citadel or War Paints Fanatic ranges, giving painters a larger blending window on both the palette and the miniature.
